Recently we announced that Melbourne Food Files was launching a new venture: catering! We’ve been doing catering behind the scenes for a while now, with referrals coming by word-of-mouth. But we enjoy doing it so much we thought it was time to expand the business and offer our services to all our followers.

We’ve recently launched our Spring 2017 menu, just in time for the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival. We can do old favourites including: chicken sandwiches with celery, red onion, mango chutney & mayo; homemade slow-cooked Aussie beef pies with homemade tomato sauce; or pulled BBQ pork sliders with slaw. Or there’s more delicate canapés including: scorched corn, manchego and jalapeño croquettes with green tabasco aioli; rare roast beef choux pastries with horseradish cream; or chorizo scotch eggs w romesco sauce.
